Why I'm standing

I have raised my kids right here in Henderson-Massey and absolutely love the West. I also know we have some problems – long commutes, lack of opportunities, degradation of our waterways and infrastructure. I will commit to working to get the West moving, reduce emissions, protect the awa and look after the place and its people for right now and into the future.

About me

I have always valued community wellbeing. I have volunteered with preschool groups and our local neighbourhood project over the years and worked in publishing and the charity sector. I want to contribute my time and energy to my community in a positive way. My green values are at the core of who I am. I want us to work for good green change that will make a difference to people's lives in Henderson-Massey.

My priorities
  1. Make it easy to get around for everyone with rapid public transport, walking and cycling.
  2. Protect and restore green spaces and waterways, support biodiversity and defend the Hauraki Gulf.
  3. Support local initiatives and mana whenua as a resilient community looks after each other.
