Why I'm standing

I see a need in council for someone with experience in construction to provide insight on policy related to the subject, as Invercargill is currently suffering a housing shortage. I also see this as an opportunity to make sure our city is going in the right direction for the next generation as a father of young kids. I love Invercargill and want to see it promoted as the great place that it is.

About me

I aim to represent a large section of the community that is currently underrepresented: young working people with families. I believe the council is mostly made up of older demographics; however, that is only one part of our city. The young working people keep the city going, and those with families are raising the future of the city. I work hard and invest in this city as a builder and want to see it grow and thrive.

My priorities
  1. Keep rates increases low and affordable for residents.
  2. Encourage building and development to grow the city and increase the number of ratepayers.
  3. Promote the city as a great place to live, work and raise a family, encouraging people to move here.
