Why I'm standing

I love people and I love Invercargill. I am heavily involved in many communities and community initiatives and want authentic community representation on our council.

About me

I am positive, honest, hardworking and have the ability to bring people together. I have been part of establishing significant local events such as Polyfest that have positively enriched our community. I have over 30 years of governance experience and have been an educator for many years, and now am a servant of the public.

My priorities
  1. Create a positive shared vision for the city driven by the community.
  2. Establish authentic community representation on the council.
  3. Develop strong public and private partnerships to ensure the vision can become a reality.
