Why I'm standing

I love living in Stoke Ngawhatu and want to see it flourish, but our region faces many serious challenges in creating a future-focused resilient community with long-term viability. I am standing because many of those challenges are linked and require the ability and experience to manage large, complex problems.

About me

Having a career in climate and air quality research and management and working with many local and central government bodies, I have a good understanding of the key challenges facing our region and an ability to tackle complex, multidisciplinary tasks. I am a small business owner and understand the drivers and barriers for local business. I am in a position to bring my experience to the benefit of the people of Nelson.

My priorities
  1. Create a truly sustainable future for Nelson by adopting a joined-up approach to city management.
  2. Develop planning that encourages long-term climate resilience through good urban design.
  3. Strengthen communities by providing accessible, affordable services and amenities.
