Why I'm standing

Nelson is one of the best places to live, and I want to make sure it stays that way. Our region has so much to offer. My focus is on building trust in local government through integrity, transparency, and action. I want to see a council that delivers practical affordable solutions, keeping rates under control, supporting families and businesses and protecting the environment we all value.

About me

Ive been deeply involved in our community through voluntary work, including over 10 years with Women and Children's Refuge, I Am Hope, and currently Presbyterian Support. These roles have kept me closely connected to the challenges families face while reinforcing my commitment to practical people focused solutions. Alongside governance and commercial experience, I bring both skills and lived understanding needed to represent Stoke and Tahunanui effectively.

My priorities
  1. Keep rates low and affordable while prioritising essential services and financial accountability.
  2. Invest in flood resilience and infrastructure to protect homes and communities from future events.
  3. Support strong local transport and community facilities that make Stoke and Tahunanui safe and connected.
