Why I'm standing

I am seeking re-election because Palmy deserves a strong, practical and future-focused voice at the council table. Over the next few years, our city needs to make critical investments into housing, infrastructure and protecting our environment. We also need to build on our status as an education and regional economic hub, make more land available for homes, support local businesses and improve roading and water networks in ways that offer sustainable value to ratepayers.

About me

I have been privileged to represent our community as a city councillor for the past two terms. I have worked as a parliamentary staffer, as well as a policy adviser at the Ministry of Education. My experience in public service gives me skills in governance, relationship building, policy analysis and project management. This stands me in good stead to continue to add value to our city's local government and lead our stunning city forward.

My priorities
  1. Focus on fiscal responsibility by reviewing council spending priorities and delivering value-for-money for ratepayers.
  2. Support local businesses as well as economic and housing growth.
  3. Support better environmental outcomes.
