Why I'm standing

I feel we need a strong council that will promote the most efficient cost-effective solutions for ongoing city operations in terms of management, systems updates, new initiatives and phasing out of systems that have proved both non-viable and non-upgradable, in terms of both short and long-term targets.

About me

I have an eye for innovative ideas and cost effectiveness, having learned that solid initiatives DON'T always need to be expensive. I have a strong sense of practical approach and can identify what is and isn't working and why, and offer solid direction and solutions. I believe every issue and approach needs to be assessed on its own merits, no party policy. I am a film-maker and can bring these talents into my council role.

My priorities
  1. Ensure all solutions, policies and approaches for issues and innovations are efficient and cost effective.
  2. Build a cost-effective in-house team that serves us, reducing reliance on external contractors.
  3. Create a functional, vibrant city that fosters joy, connection and a thriving, interactive community.
