Why I'm standing

I'm running because I want Porirua's council to truly reflect the people it serves. As a young woman of colour, I've seen too many voices left out of local decision-making. I believe our city deserves leadership that listens, includes, and takes bold action for the future keeping climate in centre of all big decisions. I want to make sure rangatahi, diverse communities and everyday whānau are part of shaping Porirua's future.

About me

I bring experience in business, not-for-profit, youth advocacy, community leadership and grassroots organising. I've led national youth initiatives, worked with diverse cultural groups, and built strong local connections through volunteering and community projects. My values are grounded in equity, collaboration and transparency. I listen carefully, communicate clearly, and know how to bring people together to solve problems. I'm committed to being approachable, accountable, and a strong voice for our community.

My priorities
  1. Establish Porirua Youth Council to give rangatahi a real voice in local decision-making.
  2. Push for climate-smart infrastructure to protect homes, whenua and waterways.
  3. Ensure financial sustainability and transparency so rates stay fair and spending reflects priorities.
