Why I'm standing

Running for council is not what I want to be doing; it's not a lifestyle that appeals to me. I would rather keep my head down and mind my own business. However, there were no candidates that reflected my values. I had the choice of not running and watch my community go down a path I did not agree with, or do the hard thing and put my money where my mouth is.

About me

I am currently in my 4th year of law school at Victoria University so I come to the table with a legal education. I also offer a willingness to go against the current and say what I believe, even if no one else agrees. I'm also committed to being honest in all things and seriously considering the views of those with whom I cannot agree.

My priorities
  1. Cut waste and keep rates low by focusing council on essentials only.
  2. Fix basics such as roads, drains and water infrastructure that locals depend on.
  3. Cut red tape so homes and businesses can grow affordably.
