Why I'm standing

I'm running because I love the Waitākere Ranges and our communities, and I want to ensure local voices are heard. I want the board to be effective for the West, delivering fair services and strong, connected communities. I will be present, listen, and represent your views with commitment and accountability, helping shape a future that protects our environment, strengthens our communities, and supports the way of life we all value.

About me

I bring over a decade of community and governance experience, including as Co-President of Playcentre Aotearoa and a local school board. I am committed, accountable, and collaborative, with a deep understanding of local issues. Having lived in West Auckland for many years, I have strong connections across communities and know how to listen, build trust, and work with others to get things done. I am dedicated to representing local voices and delivering practical, effective outcomes.

My priorities
  1. Champion people-centred urban design that creates connected, vibrant communities.
  2. Deliver resilient infrastructure to withstand extreme weather and protect well-being.
  3. Protect unique environment including the Waitākere Ranges' biodiversity and heritage.
