Why I'm standing

I am running because I love Waitakere's unique spirit – its vibrant communities and stunning natural beauty. I see untapped potential. I believe locals often feel unheard by decision-makers. I bring experience as a parent, business owner or community volunteer and have seen how practical solutions and genuine engagement can transform lives. I want to bridge the gap between residents and the council, ensuring everyone has a voice in shaping our future. I want to build a Waitakere that works for all.

About me

I have experience as an active community advocate and deep roots in Waitakere. I bring practical skills and genuine community connection. I listen first, act decisively and believe in transparent leadership. Whether advocating for key issues or uniting diverse voices, I put people before politics. My commitment is to work tirelessly, stay accessible and ensure every decision reflects our shared values. Together, we can turn challenges into progress.

My priorities
  1. Save Waitakere's forests and streams by halting destructive development now.
  2. Fast-track stormwater upgrades to protect homes and roads affected by flooding.
  3. Provide free trades training for youth to develop local skills, create local jobs and build a strong future.
