Why I'm standing

Our city has been dominated by central political parties under different names. Locals should control local policy making, not political party unelected boards. Doing the same thing and expecting different outcomes is the definition of insanity for a reason. It is plain crazy. Put independent candidates, not ex-mainstream political party candidates hiding behind the tag of independent, in control. No more party or race-based politics.

About me

I have been an elected member numerous times both here in Auckland and in Canterbury. I am ex military and owned and operated several small businesses, and subsequently I am a solutions based person. I know speaking out on some issues will get you cancelled by the woke brigade. But when we got attacked that just reinforced my belief that we were and are doing something right. Otherwise why would they bother attacking us.

My priorities
  1. Stop council spending millions on speed humps and speed tables and get that money spent on roads.
  2. Cut excess expenditure to keep rates rises below inflation as ratepayers are currently being rated out.
  3. Stop discriminatory funding and policy decision making and stick to core business and services.
