Why I'm standing
I'm standing to amplify the voices of our grassroots communities. With 8 years of experience as a dedicated community worker, I've seen the challenges our people face and I believe true change starts from the ground up. I'm passionate about walking alongside our communities, tackling climate change, building local resilience and creating space for our young people to lead and grow the Whau towards a thriving and innovative place to live and work in.

I have a strong background in community development, with a focus on connecting people, place and purpose. I've built trusted relationships across iwi, institutions and communities, and currently serve at Visionwest. I bring lived experience, leadership and a deep understanding of local challenges. I believe in people before profit and in action that creates real, lasting change. Our communities deserve strong, compassionate voices at the table.
My priorities
- Build community resilience and ensure preparedness for emergency response.
- Champion and empower grassroots organisations driving positive change and strength in the community.
- Protect the environment by continuing funding for local organisations to protect our taonga.
