Why I'm standing
I'm proud of what we have achieved over the last three years, putting our people and planet at the centre of everything we do. I want us to build on our progressive momentum, be ambitious around climate action, and be a better Treaty partner.
About me
I have a broad, and deep, understanding of the challenges facing local government and the opportunity we have to support better wellbeing outcomes. As mayor I have provided the opportunity for all perspectives to be heard, in a constructive and collegial manner, which is what our community deserves. I believe in collective responsibility and have always represented the collective view of council.
My priorities
- Decarbonise transport by making it easier for people to make more trips on foot, by bike or by bus.
- Build stronger and more resilient communities by investing in wellbeing at a neighbourhood scale.
- Rebuild our local creative community by investing in the people and places that bring our city alive.
