Why I'm standing

I love the Kāpiti Coast. For the last 22 years I have been working to make this place the best place for people to live, work and play. I believe council has a role to play in that and I think that my experience and skills will enhance our council's effectiveness in this community.

About me

I am passionate about our community's health and well-being, in equity and in building a prosperous legacy for future generations. As an active leader in the community and social sector and a pastor, I understand first-hand the challenges our district faces. My experience in and passion for effective governance will make me a great councillor.

My priorities
  1. Contribute to effective team governance and keeping people at the centre of council decision-making.
  2. Work to make our district's vision clear and informing our direction and decisions all the time.
  3. Make well-informed, wise decisions that position our district for a prosperous, hopeful future.
