Ensure that the waterways of the Taieri are clean enough for our children to swim in and enjoy.
Further encourage reuse and effective recycling programs that avoid waste without an unbalanced cost to the people for ineffective measures.
Consider income related licensing fees and provide affordable pathway ideas for pet insurance.
Provide notice to residents two days prior to street cleaning so that vehicles have an opportunity to be moved.

Reintroduce a system of cutting the DCC-owned grass verges outside properties and maintaining safe footpaths with regular inspections.
Encourage recycling in a sustainable manner with green waste going to make compost, glass containers being recycled and reducing rubbish.
Create more stringent fines for people who do not pick up their animals messes and allow their animals to be out and not under control.
