Why I'm standing

Motueka is my home, and Motueka is important to me. I am passionate about Motueka and it is an honor to represent and to advocate for the Motueka community, a community that I am proud to call home.

About me

Being of service and holding governance roles are not new to me. I have served two terms as the Motueka Community Board Chair, served as a Board of Trustee on primary and secondary schools, held a number of committee and board appointments, both local, regional and nationally. I remain grounded, well connected and are absolutely passionate about people. This election I am asking for your vote for Motueka Ward Councillor and Motueka Community Board.

My priorities
  1. My absolute priority is to be of service, to represent ratepayers and to advocate on their behalf.
  2. I am committed to ensuring that Council is seen as a service to ratepayers, "how can I help you?"
  3. Advocate on behalf of ratepayers that ongoing rates increases must not be expected as a norm.
