Why I'm standing
Motueka is my home, and Motueka is important to me. I am passionate about Motueka and it is an honor to represent and to advocate for the Motueka community, a community that I am proud to call home.
About me
Being of service and holding governance roles are not new to me. I have served two terms as the Motueka Community Board Chair, served as a Board of Trustee on primary and secondary schools, held a number of committee and board appointments, both local, regional and nationally. I remain grounded, well connected and are absolutely passionate about people. This election I am asking for your vote for Motueka Ward Councillor and Motueka Community Board.
My priorities
- My absolute priority is to be of service, to represent ratepayers and to advocate on their behalf.
- I am committed to ensuring that Council is seen as a service to ratepayers, "how can I help you?"
- Advocate on behalf of ratepayers that ongoing rates increases must not be expected as a norm.
