Why I'm standing

Motueka is my home. I feel passionate about this place where my parents met, where I was born, my children were raised and my mokōpuna are being born into. I believe that collectively our community has all that we need to survive, thrive, succeed and achieve but that we need empathetic ears and advocate voices at the decision making table to ensure resources are accessible by those in need. Let me serve you.

About me

I bring decades of experience in community roles and a vast network locally, nationally and globally. My life has been and continues to be dedicated to serving the people of Motueka.

My priorities
  1. Strengthening our community connections, collective capacity, cultural capabilities and resilience.
  2. Ensure meaningful consultations occur and various perspectives considered prior to board decisions.
  3. Advocate for a Motueka that we are proud for our descendants to inherit.
