Why I'm standing
I was first elected to council in 2013, and there are things that I want to see completed. I was elected to represent and advocate for residents, and I feel I make decisions in the best interests of the city by putting the residents first. I'm a business owner, and I want to see this part of our community represented on council.
About me
I own/run a Restaurant in the CBD with 25 staff. I have over 20 years experience managing/running businesses and employing staff. I am currently a Justice of the Peace, and I am Resource Management Commissioner. I am the current Chair of Moneywise Manawatū.
My priorities
- To continue the work on the Streets for People Project and ensure it's the best value for money.
- To ensure that we look for good joint venture outcomes for our major projects going forward.
- To ensure that the rates review project goes well with good consultation with the community.
