Why I'm standing

I have known a fair share of what it means to struggle with not being able make enough for a living. I'm motivated to run in order to address economic inequality and homelessness and to support affordable housing. I'm running to promote diversity, participation and inclusion that give equal opportunities to all. For a better future the only people who can save us is, we the people, no matter our backgrounds.

About me

I have struggled with belonging and inclusion, experiencing forms of exclusions. I have endeavoured in advocating and standing up for an inclusive society where everyone matters. I'm a health worker and have lived in Puketāpapa for nine years. I have been volunteering in community organisations for eight years in home-work centres and holiday programmes. I'm totally committed to our diverse community. It is that experience, I believe, which would make me a good elected representative.

My priorities
  1. Reaching out to Puketāpapa residents to contribute to the three-year plan and priorities.
  2. Start employment programmes for youth and the unemployed to address the rise of cost of living.
  3. Start to advocate for more frequent bus services in Roskill and more HOP card outlets.
