Why I'm standing

I grew up in Mt Roskill and call this special place my home. We didn't have the easiest time growing up, but through a great local school, we were all able to get university educations. I care about my local community, this power hub of multiculturalism and a whole heap of different people working together. I am proud of where I come from, and want to help others to have their say and realise their potential.

About me

I am a project manager and have been a public servant for over ten years, both in Auckland and overseas. My ability to see a project through will ensure that local projects in Puketāpapa are implemented properly, with people at the heart of what we do. I have worked in education, pandemic response, public transport and bushfire recovery. At the moment I have been volunteering for local food banks and helping the migrant and refugee community.

My priorities
  1. Half-price/fares-free public transport, to reduce carbon emissions, congestion and living costs.
  2. Empower local groups and businesses in their services to the community with grants and support.
  3. Protect our coastlines, waterways and green spaces in Puketāpapa for future generations.
