Why I'm standing

I am current local board member, I bring 12 years experience, I bring wealth of local government expertise in events, arts, culture, library, sport, recreation, economic development, planning. I am the chair for Puketāpapa Business Voice, boards for Mt Roskill together and many community groups. I continue to advocate for fair outcomes for all residents and businesses, for smart development, open green space, community facilities and balance the needs of community to help Puketāpapa thrive.

About me

I have been on the Puketāpapa Local board in a majority and minority position and worked well in both positions because I believe we are local board elected members for all of the community. I have been on the local school board of trustees for over 25 years, primary and grammar school, currently on three community group boards. I am a Justice of the Peace serving the community since 2007. I am a marriage celebrant.

My priorities
  1. Better facilities that allow for arts and sports to thrive.
  2. Local business for local employment. Live local, shop local, play local.
  3. Advocate for our infrastructure update while major housing build, that also helps climate change.
