Why I'm standing

I believe in the local in local government, local decision-making and the need for our area to receive its fair share of investment. Our area has fantastic communities and places and we need to continue to protect and enhance them as well as proactively manage the increasing number of visitors.

About me

I worked in local government for 30 years as a community developer, leisure manager, strategist and local board advisor. I have the experience and the knowledge to navigate council and get things moving forward. From the Titirangi toilets to Shadbolt House, road repairs to park developments I have helped to get stuck things unstuck. Having served a term already, I have the contacts and experience needed to get the best for our unique area.

My priorities
  1. Progress Glen Eden town centre plan update, mall upgrade and town square development.
  2. Progress local cycle and walkway links particularly a rail side cycleway from Sunnyvale to New Lynn.
  3. Funding for park development particularly Waitākere Quarry/Waitipu restoration and development.
