Why I'm standing

I am extremely passionate about this community, its people and achieving outcomes that encourage and support our communities, to live, work and thrive. I have enjoyed my role as an elected member in the last three years and would like to continue to represent the community and be their local voice in Auckland Council.

About me

I have lived with my family in the Waitākere Ranges Local Board (WRLB) area for 18 years. I am connected to and volunteer in voluntary groups which means that I have a good understanding of the issues our community faces. I make my decisions based on facts and have a proven track record as a strong independent leader with a determined and sensible approach to solving complex issues.

My priorities
  1. Raise community engagement to work on solutions to the problems Auckland faces together.
  2. Focus on maintenance to make our city more resilient to the effects of climate change.
  3. Improve our local parks to make them fun, accessible places to be enjoyed by all.
