Why I'm standing
I have lived in Titirangi for 39 years and am involved with a number of local community and environmental organisations. Now I have the time, energy, skills and experience to step up my community contribution.
About me
Following a career as chartered accountant, CEO and company director, although for a few years commercial pilot, I have strong financial and governance skills and business and commercial experience which I can bring to the role. My work with local community and environmental organisations gives me a strong connection with the local community.
My priorities
- Improved value for rates and wise council spending. With less money available, let's make it count.
- Provide a strong voice for Waitākere in Auckland Council. In a supercity, local input is vital.
- Improving public transport options and greenways. Let's reduce the number of car journeys required.
