Wellington City Council

Motukairangi/Eastern General Ward
The Wellington City Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. Why I'm standing

I have a responsibility as a parent to do what I can to make this city the best place for our kids to grow up. That means investing in quality housing, reliable and free public transport and prioritise walking/cycling as a safe way of getting around our city. It means supporting our arts, businesses and communities to thrive.

About me

I will make every decision through a climate and Te Tiriti lens looking decades ahead to ensure Wellington thrives well into our grandkids futures and beyond. My background spans the public and non-governmental sector as well as running my own businesses. I am equipped to make good decisions, form meaningful relationships with mana whenua and local communities and answer to those who elected me.

My priorities
  1. Put our people at the center of decision making by consulting in a way that is transparent and fair.
  2. Advance climate action significantly through housing, transport and nature solutions.
  3. Support our renting population by ensuring council enacts its regulatory role.
