Why I'm standing

I am a research and resilience engineer. Born and raised on the West Coast. UNESCO Research Fellow at Kyoto University, professional experience in Japan (Earthquake Engineering), Indonesia (Hydro) and the Philippines (Bohol Island 2013 Earthquake Recovery, Municipal Engineer, Professor of Civil Engineering). I am home in the land of my birth, with high motivation to serve you. I am a West Coast Team Leader and a listener to individual concerns and critical community issues.

About me

I have engineering infrastructure and professional experience. I have been involved in numerous earthquakes, including recovery, and am skilled in Earthquake preparation and know the early warning systems. I want bombogenesis warning BUOYS in the Tasman Sea, an early warning system at Martyr Hill in South Westland, and wooden floor subfloor bracing corner resilience re alpine fault magnitude 8 torsion and shear waves in alpine fault rupture.

My priorities
  1. Westport Buller River floodwall. Westport Port. 600 West Coast dairy farmers' support. No prosecutions.
  2. Establish landslide monitor from data. Support Waka Kotahi on coastal roads and landslides.
  3. Establish resilient West Coast communities regarding climate change and alpine fault magnitude 8. Supporting civil defence.
