Mayor of Hamilton

The mayor is the leader of the council. Their job is to promote a vision for the city and lead the development of the council’s plans, policies and budget. The mayor appoints the deputy mayor, establishes committees for particular topics, and appoints chairs for those committees. This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. Compare the candidates and their policies to decide who to vote for in the Hamilton City Council mayoral election.

Why I'm standing

I believe that I can help grow our economy and personal wealth by implementing a plan that focuses our collective efforts on the banking, finance and investment industry rather than the tourism industry.

About me

I know that I will be a very good mayoral representative. I am 63 years old and have over 40 years of experiential competence in ministering to the socio-economic, political and ecclesiastical needs of others. I have worked in the constitutional law and treaty law arena since 2005 and have worked on the most controversial treaty claims to date – the WAI 1572 and WAI 1596. I am a five-generation farmer and a three-generation Hamiltonian family man.

My priorities
  1. Super grow the economy to escape generational debt and all forms of poverty.
  2. Adopt an inspired written constitution to safeguard native freedoms and civil liberties.
  3. Survive any foreseeable end-of-life event and prepare for rebuilding economic infrastructure.
