Why I'm standing

I'm running because I'm frustrated seeing rates climb at unsustainable levels, with families and businesses struggling as a result. I worry about whether my kids and your kids will be able to afford to build their lives here in the future. Hamilton should be a place where families can put down roots and thrive. I don't want Hamilton's future priced out of reach for the very people who call it home.

About me

I will make a good representative because I bring common sense, legal expertise, management experience, attention to detail, critical thinking and the discipline to question when things don't add up. I'm embedded in the community and well placed to amplify what people actually need from council. I have a real stake in Hamilton's future and a commitment to building a city that works, keeping it affordable, accountable and liveable.

My priorities
  1. Keep rates affordable and cut waste and stop passing the bill to Hamilton households and businesses.
  2. Fix the basics first: roads, water, waste and mitigate future water costs before spending on extras.
  3. Tackle debt as high debt means higher rates and fewer dollars for essentials today and tomorrow.
