Why I'm standing

I care deeply about Hamilton and believe we need a council that listens, acts fairly, and plans for the long term. I am concerned that rising costs, poor decision-making, and a lack of transparency are eroding trust between the council and our community. I want to bring common sense, accountability, and a collaborative spirit to the council table so we can make decisions that serve all residents, now and into the future.

About me

I have lived in Hamilton for many years and understand the challenges and opportunities our communities face. I have a background in law, science and policy that gives me the skills to analyse issues carefully, listen to all sides, and make fair, informed decisions. I value honesty, respect and accountability, and I work hard to build trust by being open and approachable. I am committed to representing everyone in our ward, ensuring all voices are heard and considered.

My priorities
  1. Cap rates increases to inflation to keep living costs fair for residents.
  2. Enable affordable housing through smart infill to ease the housing shortage.
  3. Improve community safety to ensure people feel secure where they live and work.
