Why I'm standing
I will seize this opportunity to bring my lived experience and gain new insights into how local government operates, including the implementation of Auckland Council policies and strategies while balancing residents' expectations on issues that matter the most. Additionally, with a growth mindset, I am committed to working alongside local government officials on shared priorities over the next three years.

I bring two decades of lived experience as a practitioner, community advocate, and educator, representing the voices of ethnic minorities and contributing to grassroots, inclusive, and strategic thinking at the decision-making table. My deep engagement in community development and social practice ensures that I remain grounded in the values and needs of our local community. As an independent candidate for Puketāpapa Local Board, I will advocate for grassroots, community-driven values, giving residents confidence.
My priorities
