The Puketāpapa Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of six members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Additionally, with a growth mindset, I am committed to working alongside local government officials on shared priorities over the next three years.

I bring two decades of lived experience as a practitioner, community advocate, and educator, representing the voices of ethnic minorities and contributing to grassroots, inclusive, and strategic thinking at the decision-making table. My deep engagement in community development and social practice ensures that I remain grounded in the values and needs of our local community. As an independent candidate for Puketāpapa Local Board, I will advocate for grassroots, community-driven values, giving residents confidence.

  2. Support and empower local business growth and thriving.
