Why I'm standing

Puketāpapa has been my home for decades and I love it! I am very invigorated by our wonderful natural areas such as coastline, rivers and bush. Living in our largest city, with these treasures close to hand feels like an enormous privilege. I want to deepen my connection to place and people by working with and for the people who also call Puketāpapa home.

About me

I have a conscious intergenerational connection to Puketāpapa as well as Aotearoa, and I am in a good position to support people and groups who may have been here for a short or a much longer time. With my background in the arts and education, I have learnt the value of appreciating the unique gifts we all bring to the table, and how these can be used to build common ground for great decision making.

My priorities
  1. Focus on climate resilience for people and planet, especially when it comes to transport.
  2. Advocate for further building of well-designed housing close to existing infrastructure.
  3. Improve networking between community groups to strengthen capability through collaboration.
