Why I'm standing

Auckland and Puketāpapa is my home and I want to make sure that it is the best possible place to live, grow up and work for my daughter and the next generation. I want our local boards to represent the diversity of life experience, talent and insights of Aucklanders. Unfortunately that is not our current reality with the makeup of council. I am committed to doing my bit to change that for all Aucklanders.

About me

Puketāpapa is my home. My family has lived here for over 50 years, contributing through business and community service. I am deeply committed to making sure that Puketāpapa is a thriving and inclusive place that meets the needs of all its residents. I've worked and volunteered in governance, strategy, planning, accountability and advocacy, so I can hit the ground running as a capable and hardworking local board member.

My priorities
  1. Improve resilience to intense storms caused by climate change.
  2. Advocate for social and affordable housing projects that have been indefinitely deferred to restart.
  3. Focus on building transport networks that provide people with genuine choice in getting around.
