Why I'm standing

I am running because I believe Auckland can be the best city in the world. We need to be making the most of our beautiful environment, on an isthmus between two harbours with our volcanic mountains and great beaches. I want to see a Tāmaki Makaurau where our young people feel like there is a future for them, where it is easy to get to our natural wonders, and where everyone is housed.

About me

I've served two terms on the Puketāpapa Local Board and two terms as chair of the Manukau Harbour Forum. I've also worked as a high school teacher, community engagement advisor and campaigner. I have years of experience in consensus building, working with people from different political persuasions and areas. I hold a Masters in Public Policy, and I know how council works, and how to get things done.

My priorities
  1. Protect and restore our harbours and waterways that link our communities.
  2. Build close to transport hubs and existing infrastructure.
  3. Invest in public transport, walking and cycling so that roads flow freely.
