Why I'm standing

I believe you deserve proactive representation who will listen before speaking. I believe change needs to come from neighbourhoods. I believe people need to be able to trust that their local board will listen to them and take their concerns seriously. As a resident of this area, I have seen the struggles of our neighbourhood, the increasing demand for food parcels, the rise in unemployment and the lack of infrastructure for flooding. It is a lot. I believe we need action.

About me

My faith has taught me that love for others is one of the most important things. I have been living in Roskill South for the past nine years and have been helping to run afterschool clubs. I have been advocating for my neighbourhood while surrounded by development, road closures and diggers. I started the community gardens in Molley Green Reserve. I have been successfully working with young people who commit crime to change their lives.

My priorities
  1. Improve infrastructure for flooding as people should not have to feel worried when it rains.
  2. Keep a close eye on housing developments to advocate for community involvement and consultation.
  3. Explore opportunities for fresh produce markets like Wesley in other areas of Puketāpapa.
