  • Intensified housing with considerations ie close to amenities/transport/city centre, lighting assurances, preserving some history.

Advocate for renters' rights in line with the Healthy Homes standard.

More social housing and homeless shelters that are supported compassionately by the Ministry of Social Development, community groups and police where needed.

  • Protect the heritage and character of Mt Eden and surrounds.

Protect existing urban spaces and recreational facilities.

Encourage well thought out plans for housing without putting resources like schools under immense pressure.

  • Call for greater infrastructure funding from central government to support housing development.

Better protect special character and heritage areas. I support well designed high density living in areas which make sense.

Protect Auckland's existing green spaces from government-imposed intensification plans which will improve living for high density living.

  • Advocate for more intensification around walkable transport-orientated areas.

Support and push for the implementation of the Renters United Healthy Homes commitment.

Supporting wider heritage protection and prioritising sites and places important to mana whenua.

  • Advocate for managed intensification, which will increase population and improve services, while retaining history in some neighbourhoods.

Fund community organisations which support renters.

Support the Auckland Night Shelter to provide a safe space for Auckland's homeless population.

  • Reduce bureaucracy in the consent process with less requirement for "experts" involvement that adds huge costs to building projects.

Set up a night shelter for the homeless so they do not need to sleep in the doorways. Review current options that are not working well.

Oppose council wanting to turn parks into housing developments.
