Local democracy

Local government is a foundational part of our democracy. But local democracy isn’t just about holding elections every three years – it’s about the day-to-day ways people have their say in the decisions that affect us all.

  • Change Mt Eden/Albert zone to have odd number of elected members. So often there has been a stalemate of 4/4 which is disruptive to progress.

Ensure our neighbourhood is a vibrant, multi-cultural place to live.
