Why I'm standing

I am running for local board because I really value the environment we live and work in. I am concerned that the significant transformational changes planned for Ōwairaka have not had robust enough representation from the community. The Local Board needs some fresh perspectives. It is time to give a voice to a pragmatic and consultative approach to allow progress and collaboration together across the Tāmaki Makaurau.

About me

I believe in teamwork. I have a good history of success in delivering high level collaborative projects between government and industry. I have spent a lot of time training and educating young people and providing them with productive pathways into society. I am the third generation in my family to reside in Ōwairaka and I am proud to be able to put my hand up to represent the community.

My priorities
  1. Empowering our local leaders and giving our community a voice.
  2. Ensuring that the basic responsibilities of the Board are undertaken to a high standard.
  3. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure developments enhances our local economy and environment.
