Why I'm standing

I'm running for local board because the people of Ōwairaka deserve to be better heard and supported. This is a diverse area, made up of a beautiful ecosystem, and families, individuals, and communities from all walks of life. It's an area that requires nuanced and thoughtful decision-making around transportation, housing intensification, neighbourhood safety, and green space protection. I will listen first, then respond with care, and will bring an energetic voice to decision-making.

About me

I've lived in the Albert-Eden area for the past eight years and my first home is an apartment in Waterview. Ōwairaka is a place of beauty, diversity, and true community. It's made up of hard-working families and people who deserve to be listened to and championed. My focus is on listening and responding to the people's needs, pragmatic solutions to transport issues, and the protection of green spaces.

My priorities
  1. Sensible transport and parking solutions that allow businesses to flourish and people to move easily.
  2. Protecting and developing green spaces and sporting facilities that contribute to community life.
  3. Prioritising safety in our neighbourhoods, through partnership with Community Patrol and The Police.
