Why I'm standing
I love the area and want to make it even better than it already is. I passionately believe Council needs to connect and listen to the community, fund projects that make the area accessible for all and supports community groups to do great things. I want to help build neighbourhoods and a city that cares about its people. I've done a lot since I was first elected, but there's still more we can do together.
About me
I have a mix of strong skills. I grew up in Albert-Eden and am the current Board Chair. I trained as a nurse and now focus on contributing to good local and regional governance. I have 12 years' experience on the local board in a variety of roles as well sitting on school boards, a licensing trust and recently the Auckland Light Rail Establishment Board. Most importantly; I listen, I care and want to contribute.
My priorities
- Supporting locals to create stronger, more connected, communities.
- Make decisions and fund projects that create a healthier environment.
- Planning for a brighter future for our area and our city.
