Rodney Local Board

The Rodney Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of nine members. Members are elected to represent different subdivisions within the local board area. Three members will be elected from your area. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.     Encourage the board to collaborate and consult with a wider community and iwi base to gain a range of perspectives in decision making.

  • Support partnerships between government agencies, businesses, iwi, and communities to find smarter ways of working together.

    Support our local business to thrive and provide employment and training opportunities.

    Engage with our communities, helping them cut through the red tape to get things that they need done.

  • Fight for ratepayers' right to information that affects our community. I believe that information is power.
