Why I'm standing

I believe Waitaki is a wonderful place to reside, we should all feel proud of a part of it. However, I want to make sure that people's voices and concerns are being heard and listened to. I am very passionate about our community and the people in it. I love building connections and have a genuine desire and determination to achieve great things for our district. I believe we can do better.

About me

I have lived locally my whole life, I have a young daughter and know the struggles people in our community are facing. I'm ambitious, motivated and hard working. I would be an excellent representative for our community because I'm down to earth, approachable, and friendly. I'm not afraid to speak up and challenge opinions. I'm committed to ensuring that Waitaki is a place where people thrive and that we make the best decisions moving forward.

My priorities
  1. Advocating for the development of an affordable public transport scheme for those who need it most.
  2. Investigate council spending and financial management to ensure our money is being spent wisely.
  3. Ensuring that feedback given to the council is respected and not ignored.
