Why I'm standing

I believe in strengths-based community-led action that invests in the well-being of our people and community. We have a unique, diverse and entrepreneurial community and we are dependent on one another to be a thriving, inclusive and future-focused region.

About me

I have been a councillor for three years and sought opportunities to broaden my experience in governance, education, not-for-profit sector, contract management and delivery. I endeavour to work with integrity and compassion, it would be a privilege to continue to serve our Waitaki District.

My priorities
  1. Focus on visionary leadership that focuses on the wellbeing of our community.
  2. Being inclusive of our community cultural needs when making decisions at the council table.
  3. Being visible and advocate the views of our district at local, regional and national forums.
