Why I'm standing

I am standing in the Oamaru Ward to represent the Waitaki district.

About me

I'm born and raised in Waihemo, however, I'm standing for council in Oamaru because I want to bring a wider district perspective to the council chambers. We don't have enough representation in the smaller places on the edges of the district at council. The community boards are under-resourced for the needs of their communities into the future.

My priorities
  1. Cement the future of Oamaru Hospital, retain and improve our health services in our district.
  2. Cut red tape for new builds, community projects and business support.
  3. Investigate the return on investment on council investments and debt.
