Why I'm standing

I want people thriving and feeling safe without fear of excessive rate increases. We need local businesses to improve the outlook and direction of Wellington. I want our regional parks protected, our streets maintained, our water supply clean and to remove the pressure on people – both financial and ideological. Let me drive my kids to school and get to work because I have a lot to get done.

About me

I enjoy working for the people of Wellington and hearing about their lives and realities. Twenty years of research-based nursing experience and extensive travel to over 30 countries has given me experience that makes me an asset. I have travelled on some of the best and worst transport systems in the world, and effective transport is key to improving our city. I will speak up against misspending and I will not support excessive rate increases.

My priorities
  1. Stop excessive rate increases. Review where money is being spent and stop out-of-control costs.
  2. Stop the war on cars by providing effective safe public transport and stop spending millions on bike lanes.
  3. Improve the emergency response and resilience for Wellingtonians so more survive a major disaster.
