Why I'm standing

I have a deep respect for the Wellington Region's natural environment and with my skills and experience want to add value to the environmental decisions that affect it. We are hitting a period of significant uncertainty in terms of central government legislative reform and climate risks ratcheting up, and I think I have the skills to represent Wellington while we navigate this uncertainty.

About me

I am curious, even-headed, future focused, and a good listener. My career has been in environmental governance across different disciplines, so I am a boundary operator and I understand different perspectives.

My priorities
  1. Build resilience for communities and nature by delivering cost-effective, nature-based solutions.
  2. Improve the health of waterways and harbours and ensure a resilient water supply.
  3. Build constructive relationships with mana whenua and communities and listen to people.
