Why I'm standing

I am running for council because I believe our region needs practical leadership that puts people first. With decades of real-world experience in transport and community projects, I know how to deliver results that matter. I want to restore trust, ensure council is accountable and make decisions based on the needs of everyday people. My goal is to bring common sense, transparency and a focus on delivery back to local government.

About me

I will make a good elected representative because I bring over 30 years of professional experience in delivering complex projects in regulated industries, along with a strong record of community involvement. I believe in listening first, being transparent and putting people at the centre of every decision. I have deep connections across our region and a commitment to ensuring local voices are genuinely heard and reflected in council decisions.

My priorities
  1. Introduce passenger rewards to make travel cheaper and grow bus and train use.
  2. Increase frequency and reliability so services arrive on time and meet demand.
  3. Upgrade stations, shelters and apps to create a safer, easier passenger experience.
