Why I'm standing

I am a proud and committed Wellingtonian. I want Wellington and the region to be inclusive and prosperous – a place where we can all succeed. I believe this means ensuring we have the networks and infrastructure in place to support growth. I want to ensure we anticipate growth and deal with the significant deferred maintenance and investment that is dogging our water and rail infrastructure in particular.

About me

I am an experienced councillor with a strong background in problem solving and working collaboratively. I work collaboratively with communities, councillors and organisations to weave together projects and solutions for Wellington and the region. I fight for the city and region by making sure we get the resources and support required to make Wellington a wonderful place to live and play.

My priorities
  1. Get rates down without affecting the services Wellingtonians expect.
  2. Deliver reliable, safe and affordable public transport that grows to meet Wellington's needs.
  3. Achieve 100% EV public transport by finishing the journey we've already embarked upon.
