Wānaka-Upper Clutha Community Board

The Wānaka-Upper Clutha Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Queenstown-Lakes District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of four members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.     Support a regional hospital to provide jobs, education for the health of our community, mental health support and support regenerative tourism.

    Support the aviation industry at Wanaka Airport and work to ensure that any development at the airport does not displace it.

    Work with RTO to support regenerative tourism and work towards restoring social licence for tourism, which is a key part of our economy.
