Ensure our services are delivered most efficiently and effectively so that our community receive value for funds spent.
Continue with the closure of the Levin landfill and find the most cost-effective options for future rubbish disposal.
Increase ease of access for recycling more difficult items (batteries, paint, etc) by having more drop-off points in well-used areas.
Greatly expand the range of goods that can be recycled, thus reducing the volume of waste going to the landfill.
Congratulate the council employees and contractors who maintain our clean and tidy streets and public facilities.
